Set it up

Up and running in about 15 minutes.

No coding, and if you use the Claude desktop app, no terminal either. The steps are the same for every package.

What you need
A paid Claude plan (Pro or Max). The free plan will not work Mac or Windows About 15 minutes
Download your package

After checkout, Lemon Squeezy emails you a download link and shows it on the confirmation page. Download the zip and unzip it somewhere permanent that you will remember, like your Documents folder. The unzipped folder is your operating system.

Get Claude (pick one path)
Easiest: the Claude desktop appDownload the Claude app for Mac or Windows from claude.ai/download and sign in. Claude Code is built in, in the Code section. Nothing else to install.
Alternative: the terminalOpen Terminal (Mac: Cmd+Space, type "Terminal") or PowerShell (Windows: Start menu, type "PowerShell"). Paste the install command for your system. Mac: curl -fsSL https://claude.ai/install.sh | bash. Windows: irm https://claude.ai/install.ps1 | iex. Then run claude --version to confirm, and sign in on first run.
Open Claude in your folder

This is the step people miss. Claude always works inside one folder, and the commands only exist when it is opened in your unzipped folder.

In the desktop appOpen the Code section, choose New session, and when it asks which folder, choose your unzipped folder.
In the terminalType cd then drag the folder onto the terminal window (it fills in the path), press Enter, then type claude.
Type /start

In your first session, type /start and press Enter. The guided course takes over: it introduces itself, checks your setup and walks you through everything one step at a time. You do not need to come back to this page unless something breaks.

Every time you come back: open a new session and select your folder again (desktop app: Code, New session, choose the folder. Terminal: cd into it, then claude). Not sure where you are? Ask Claude "which folder am I in?" If the commands do not appear when you type /, you are in the wrong folder.
If something is off
  • "command not found: claude": close and reopen the terminal, or use the desktop app instead.
  • /start does not show up: you are not in your unzipped folder. Redo the step before.
  • Login loops or errors: check that your Pro or Max subscription is active at claude.ai, then sign in again.
